Synopsis:

To bring peace to the world, a marriage is arranged between the only Princess of Heaven and the King of Hell. However, princess Chun Yoo doesn’t want to be married to a stranger. For all she knows, he could be a perverted old man, so she decides to run away to the human world.

Three years later, she has being hiding as a boy with the help of two of the Guardians of Heaven and living a normal school life with her best friend Bi-Wal, who is too touchy-feely in spite of him thinking she is also a boy. Things starts to get complicated when the other two Guardians of Heaven receive an order to look for her and some demons start to show interest on her at the same time. Luckily, she has the guardians and… Bi-Wal? to help her.

Will the princess come back to Heaven and get married to the King of Hell?

Art:

Pretty and shojoish enough, but my friend suggested it looks like shota. Well, while I disagree, I must admit the characters look a bit younger for their age, especially the girls. Detailed backgrounds.

Characters:

Chun Yoo is strong willed an not girly, but she is also and idiot and other characters do make fun openly of this fact. However, her idiocy doesn’t get on my nerves as her other personality traits make up for it. Sometimes, though, her stupidity reaches such extents, that the whole story is pointless.

Bi-Wol is mysterious, perverted and, deep down, caring. And there is not much more to say about him.

The four Guardians of Heaven have all distinct personalities as expected, but only two of them get to shine. Sort of. They could all have provided a better story subplot.

The best:

  • Enjoyable plot.
  • Likable characters.
  • Good backgrounds.

The worst:

  • Even if the characters were likable, they need a bit more depth.
  • The plot, although enjoyable, needs more development. It has 13 volumes after all. For instance, problems are resolve really easily.
  • Could have been darker.

Score:

6 out of 10.
