Movie: How To Train Your Dragon 2

2 Aug

how-to-train-your-dragon-2-poster1-690x1024I really love How To Train Your Dragon, so I went to watch the second movie yesterday and I think it was fairly better than I expected as sequels usually tend to be a disappointment. Oh, and I love Toothless 🙂

Manwha: Angel Diary

30 May

98484586Angel Diary is one of those “so so” manga you will probably enjoy reading if you like the gender, but that won’t go to your list of favorites. Even so, I recommend you to have a look at it. Keep reading to know more 🙂

TV Series: Lost

4 Apr

Lost-season1

I always watch TV series too late, as Lost ended a few years back and started even before that. I’ve wanted to watch it since I saw some episodes when it was still showing on TV, though, but I never got to watch it until a few months ago. I don’t really regret it because I enjoyed it, but as many say, the end is off. All in all, I think these series set a precedent in the TV series boom that exists nowadays.

A friend of mine recommended me this book, so I decided to take his advice and I’m glad I did because it’s incredibly good. It’s my favorite of the trilogy, actually, which I’ll try to review later on. The story is amazing, nothing like I’ve read before. If you are into The Hunger Games or dystopic novels at all, you should read this. Go on and keep reading so i can convince you! 🙂

Book: The Neverending Story

20 Dec

200px-TheNeverendingStory1997Edition

Who doesn’t know The Neverending Story? It’s one of the best well-known fantasy books of all times, but most people may have heard of it for its multiple movie adaptations, which are crap, honestly (although I used to watch one of them quite a lot. Don’t judge me. I was little and there was a dog-like dragon, a talking tree an a giant baby rock. Who can resists at age 8?). Anyway, I’m very glad I laid my hands on it a few years ago, when I was a teenager. I could relate to Bastian and this book kinda taught me a few things which I’ve noticed now. I have to read it again soon. This is a book I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend to those who really like a good fantasy story and a good lesson of self-improvement.

Anime: Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel of Monsters

18 Dec

yu-gi-oh_81

The story about how I started to watch Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel of Monsters is the same one as in Medabots. When I was a teenager, I watched it because there was nothing else on TV or that was what I told to myself because I knew deep down I liked it. So for the past two weeks, I’ve been watching the entire series out of curiosity and melancholy and finally finished them yesterday. It turned out it is one of my favorites now. If my teenage self could see me now… 😀 Have anyone seen the sequels? Are they good? Since the original characters are not there, I don’t know if I should see them or not. But I’ll read the manga for sure. Come on! Keep reading the review and leave some comments!

Anime: Medabots

Medabots-Episode-67-English-Dubbed

I remember watching this when I was around 13, maybe? I never really payed much attention to it, but I was looking through some TV series lists and I saw it. I suddenly had the urge to watch it and see how it ended. This happens to me a lot. I may not be interested at first, but I’m very curious about the end. Which means I like it deep inside  even if I refuse to admit it. Well, now I’m able to admit this kind of things, but not when I was 13.
